Gina, born in Toledo Ohio, grew up north of Detroit, on Lake Angelus. After having graduated from Detroit Country Day School, she attended Ohio University and graduated with an Interior Architecture degree, a studio art and fine art minor. Her extended studies entailed a semester abroad, studying in the field, Interior Architecture and fashion at The American Intercontinental University in London.
Passionate about the outdoors, Gina’s move out west to Denver Colorado, directly out of college, was a natural fit. For the past 16 years DeMario has resided in Colorado securing sales positions which have always incorporated and or resonated her expertise in the design field.
DeMario’s titles have included an Architecture Lighting Designer, a Senior Design Consultant for a company designing custom organization solutions, an Interior Specialist and member of the Presidents Club for a high end furniture showroom, and a Project Manager for a commercial furniture showroom. Recently Gina and her mother, Pamela Tan collaborated to create Tan & DeMario Designs. Together their talents grant Tan & DeMario Designs an important creative edge. This company brings to the arena of home staging a fresh and current look, using upscale furniture, pristine linens, and accent pieces. They punctuate their interiors with stunning pieces of original art, creating individual and memorable properties.
In addition to being an Interior Architect, Gina thrives and or excels in her studio, where she paints large abstract paintings for shows and clients upon request. 
When Gina is not collecting thoughts, objects, or images, in or out of her studio, you may find her cycling A1A or a Collegiate pass, teasing her soft coated Wheaten Terrier, Mowgli Bear, or cheering on the Detroit Red Wings!
